Amber Demo Online AI Service Terms

Effective date: September 24, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Shanghai CosmosRaven Network Technology Co., Ltd, based in China ("we", "us"), for the hosted AI service we provide through Amber Demo (the "Service").

When these Terms apply

You must accept these Terms before using the Service. You do not need to accept them to use a custom API connection to a provider you choose. Custom API mode is described in the Custom API Privacy Notice, and your chosen provider's terms apply to that connection.

These Terms cover our Demo online AI service only. They do not replace the terms governing Steam or the licenses covering the Amber software and its components.

Eligibility and access

You must be at least 16 years old, or meet any higher minimum age required by local law. If you cannot legally enter into this agreement on your own, your parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf.

Access is verified through Steam. Use a Steam account you are authorized to use and take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access.

The Service is free and subject to daily usage limits and shared capacity limits. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Replies, proactive interactions, and memory processing may count toward your allowance. An unused allowance does not guarantee immediate access when capacity is limited.

Responsible use

Submit only content you have the right to share. Do not use the Service to:

Do not submit medical or financial information, or sensitive personal information, such as dates of birth, government identification numbers, bank or payment card details, passwords, or private credentials. This restriction includes information contained in voice transcriptions, screenshots, and saved conversations or memories sent as AI context.

AI responses and your content

Amber's replies are generated by AI. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or inappropriate. The Service is intended for companionship and entertainment, and should not be relied on for professional advice, emergency assistance, or decisions that could seriously affect someone's health, safety, or rights.

You keep any rights you have in your inputs. You allow us and our service providers to process your AI inputs and outputs only as needed to provide the Service. This permission does not authorize model training. We do not claim ownership of your original inputs or generated replies; this does not transfer rights in Amber or other pre-existing material. AI responses may be similar to responses given to other users.

Our ZDR and no-training commitments, data retention rules, and Steam Cloud exceptions are explained in the Amber Demo Privacy Policy. Please read it before using the Service. Any consent required for particular data processing will be requested separately.

Availability, suspension, and ending use

We aim to provide the Service with reasonable care. Availability and responses can be affected by maintenance, network problems, capacity, and AI provider availability.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or a security risk. We may end access for a material or repeated breach of these Terms or when required by law. Where practical and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to address the issue. You can contact us to request a review.

We may change or end the Demo Service as the product develops, or for legal, security, technical, or operational reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes or planned closure where practicable, and any notice required by law.

You can stop using the Service at any time, including by switching to custom API mode. These Terms continue to apply to your past use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal and security requirements, and will revise the date above. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect, except where urgent legal or security reasons require faster action. Where applicable law requires your agreement to a change, we will obtain it before applying that change to you. You may stop using the Service if you do not agree to the updated Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies, or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
